These terms are the end-user license agreement (EULA) for the Sunflower app. Where they are silent, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. Items marked like this must be completed before the site goes live.

1. The service

Sunflower is a personal voice journal for iPhone provided by [legal entity name] (“Sunflower”, “we”). It records audio you choose to record, produces transcripts and quotes from your own words, and helps you revisit them. It is a journal, not medical care, therapy, or crisis support. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services.

2. Your account

You may create an account with Sign in with Apple or an email link. You are responsible for keeping your device and account secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live).

3. Membership and billing

• Sunflower Membership is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple’s App Store: $39.99 per year (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or $13.99 per month. Local prices may differ; the App Store shows the exact amount before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The subscription renews automatically at the displayed price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app or your Sunflower account does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
• If your membership lapses, you keep the ability to export and delete your journal; recording new entries and In Your Words require an active membership.

4. Your content

Everything you record, write, or attach is yours. You grant us only the limited right to process it as needed to provide the features you turn on (for example, transcription or In Your Words), as described in the Privacy Policy. We never use your content to train AI models and never sell it.

You are responsible for what you record. Laws about recording other people vary by place; obtain consent where it is required.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Sunflower to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, to attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the service, or to access it with automated tools beyond ordinary use.

6. Generated text

Titles, quote selection, and short summaries are produced automatically from your own words and may be imperfect. Quotes are exact spans of your transcript, but transcripts themselves may contain recognition errors. Review and edit anything that matters to you. Nothing Sunflower produces is advice.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Sunflower is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, except where the law does not allow such limits.

9. Termination

You can stop using Sunflower and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
